2009 current setup, 2010 RTA Modified AWD / NASA TT-U to start soon....
The other day I started taking apart the Evo as my season has come to an end. It was a fun year as I stepped into a whole new series and competition level of racing.
I entered Redline Time Attack Modified AWD class at my local track Autobahn Country club and realized how off pace a stock turbo is! LOL..... In my local series the Midewestern Council of Sports Car Clubs I began racing in the All Race class (AR) and realized once again the stock turbo was a little out of pace.... And I took the car to a good amount of NASA Time trials including the Nationals at Miller Motorsports Park. In the midwest power levels was okay as I race in TT-S. But in Utah it was hard to obtain that same power as the stock turbo was just out of efficiency at altitude. At a point the increased boost did nothing but make the car run a little on the hot side.
Well with all above being said, my main focus for the 2010 season is Redline Time Attack: Modified AWD class champion! As the main goal of my car has always been balance this same mind set will continue for this build. The parts I am listing below is how the car sat the last race of the year in 2009. I will be adding pictures of the car car when it arives at my friends shop this weekend to give everyone an idea of what we are satarting with.
As the new season starts so did some new sponsorships! Going back to my main goal of overall balance and reliability, the sponsors I have obtained are great examples of quality products to build an extremely effective and reliablly fast racecar. I will not only be posting pics of the car as it progresses, but of all the parts, before install, during install, and ready to race! Also as is stated in the page description, this page will be constantly updated with info on the build and as it develops during the year. So feel free to check this section out for not only general product info and why I use it. But read on to see for yourself what it takes to install, how it preforms, and why you should consider it for your own application.
